Terms of Service — Jack Personal Assistant

1. Purpose and Eligibility

Jack Personal Assistant is a private automation tool operated by Fudong Qin for personal use. It is not available for public registration or use by unrelated third parties.

2. Authorized Use

The owner may use Jack only with accounts and data they are authorized to access.

The application must not be used for spam, phishing, impersonation, unauthorized surveillance, or other unlawful activities.

3. Google Authorization

Access to Gmail requires the owner's consent through Google OAuth. The owner may revoke access at any time through their Google Account settings.

4. Email Actions and Approval

Sending emails and making changes to the mailbox require the owner's explicit instruction and approval.

Before approving an action, the owner is responsible for reviewing recipients, message content, attachments, and the scope of any mailbox changes.

5. AI Limitations

AI-generated summaries, drafts, and recommendations may contain errors or omit important information. The owner must check important details against the original messages.

Jack is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or other regulated advice.

6. Privacy

Use of Jack is subject to its Privacy Policy, which describes how Google user data and application records are handled.

7. Availability and Warranties

Jack is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Availability is not guaranteed. Google API changes, expired authorization, network failures, or AI service interruptions may affect functionality.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, inaccurate AI output, or actions approved by the owner.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

The owner may stop using Jack and revoke Google access at any time. Previously retained records must be deleted separately as described in the Privacy Policy.
